Check the customer journey and the resulting appointment before opening booking to customers.

Prepare a safe test

Use a clearly marked test customer and a service you can recognize later. For payments, use the provider’s supported test environment if your workspace offers it; do not assume a test booking is free of charges in live mode.

Follow the customer journey

  1. Choose a service and check that the duration, price and delivery format are clear.
  2. Choose an available staff member.
  3. Select a date and time; compare it with the staff schedule and any connected calendar.
  4. Enter test contact details and confirm the appointment.
  5. Open the appointment in your workspace and compare the service, staff, date, status and payment information.

Check connected features

  • For video appointments, verify that the intended host and customer can find the appropriate meeting information.
  • For notifications, check an actual received message rather than just the editor preview.
  • For calendar sync, confirm both the destination calendar and availability behavior.
  • For customer cancellation or paid-plan rescheduling, try the supported customer flow.

Before sharing the booking page

Remove or clearly identify your test records using the controls available in your workspace. Correct any mismatch before inviting customers.

Use Zoom setup or Google Calendar setup for connection checks.
